Biography/History note
- Norma Gould (1888-1980) performed with modern dancer Ted Shawn and also choreographed for early twentieth-century pageants in southern California. She established the Norma Gould School of Dance where distinguished dancers such as Lester Horton taught and Gower Champion and Bella Lewitzky numbered among the students.
