- Alban Berg (born February 9, 1885, Vienna; died December 24, 1935, Vienna) was an Austrian composer of the Second Viennese School. Frida Semler Seabury (born 1887; died November 2, 1974) summered with the Berg family in 1903 and 1904 at the Berghof, the Berg family summer home on Ossiachersee in Carinthia, Austria.

- Folders numbered 1-5 contain 5 autograph letters signed in German from Alban Berg to Seabury, written between summer 1907 and summer 1908; folder 6 is a typed and signed rememberance by Seabury in English of the summers of 1903 and 1904 spent with the Berg family; folders 7 and 8 contain letters in German from Alban's brother Charley to Seabury dated January 20 and July 20, 1936; folder 9 is a letter in German from Berg biographer Willi Reich to Seabury dated June 22, 1936; folder 10 contains a signed photograph of Berg; folder 11 contains the no. 9 issue of Musik der Gegenwart with the title Alban Bergs Wozzeck und die Musikkritik; and folder 12 has two newspaper clippings, one an obituary of Berg in English from either late December 1935 or early January 1936 and the other from June 9, 1937 in French by Darius Milhaud about the Zürich premiere of Berg's opera Lulu.
