- Journal (1933) kept by Herbert and Jo Abraham recording experiences of American Friends Service Committee volunteers at a mining camp in Letcher County, Ky., endeavoring to improve social conditions there and in the town of Hemphill. Includes correspondence, photographs, and other papers of the volunteers and typewritten transcript (1986) of the journal with addenda appended by Herbert Abraham.
